Easy Jamaican Guinness Punch Recipe

Guinness Punch is the perfect combination of bitter and sweet, it’s creamy and rich flavour makes it incredibly moreish and bound to have guests asking for a top-up! Not only is Guinness Punch a delicious drink, but it also has an incredibly quick preparation time, once you know-how, we can guarantee you’ll be whipping it up at any given opportunity. Guinness contains antioxidants and has long been used as a cure for hangovers, we can guarantee that after a few sips of Guinness Punch you too will become a believer of its strengthening powers.

Guinness punch has gained popularity for being a Jamaican drink however this cold beverage is enjoyed throughout the Caribbean Islands, with each country and family adding their special twist to it. Although it may taste different from Island to Island there are staple ingredients that go into each variation of this well-known drink; Guinness, Condense Milk, Vanilla extract, and Nutmeg powder.


2 bottles of Guinness 

1 cans of Nourishment (Vanilla flavour)

1 tablespoon of Vanilla extract 

¼ teaspoon of Nutmeg 

¼ teaspoons of cinnamon 

½ can of condensed milk (sweeten to your preferred taste)

Oats (optional)


  1. Pour the cans of Guinness into a blender, add the Cans of Nourishment and condensed milk in a blend together.
  2. Add the Vanilla extract, Cinnamon, and Nutmeg and blend again. Grab a spoon and taste for sweetness, add more condensed milk for sweetness if required.
  3. Pour the creamy mixture into a large jug with a lid and allow to chill in the fridge for an hour. If you’re rushed for time you could always grab some ice cubes and serve over ice. 
  4. Pour into glasses to serve and garnish with nutmeg for extra flavour, enjoy every sip! 

Notes: There are recipes for Jamaican Guinness punch which include eggs, and a dash of white or dark rum. Although we haven’t included them in this recipe we would recommend experimenting with different flavours so you can create a Punch that tickles your fancy. There are also a few myths that surround Jamaican Guinness Punch and suggest that not only does it taste amazing but it contributes to libido and vitality! Although we can’t be certain just how true that is, we’re sure that this mixture of flavours is perfect for the upcoming summer days!
